LEE'S GUITAR SMASHES RECORD

Lee Kernaghan recently attended a fundraising lunch for the Queensland chapter of the Old Bastards Association where he spoke to the gathering of over 1000 members and performed hits from his latest album Spirit of the Bush.
Lee also donated one of his black Fender acoustic guitars for the charity auction and was there as furious bidding for the guitar saw the instrument finally sold for $30,000. Following the auction another Lee Kernaghan guitar and Akubra Outback Club hat was sold for $25,000 with the entire $55,000 raised on the day being donated to the Aussie Helpers drought relief fund who Lee serves as patron.
Ian Hollindale, President of the Old Bastards Association travelled to Charleville to personally present Aussie Helpers Founder Brian Egan with the cheque and was joined by Mayor of Charleville Mark O'Brien who paid tribute to Aussie Helpers and the Old Bastards Association on a remarkable fundraising achievement.
